Torrid 200 guarantees 60,000 to 120,000 BTU output.
By itself, Torrid 200 will deliver 120,000 BTUs of 150
° in an average (40'x60') bay area. And, add the optional "Magic Heat" flue exchanger to increase your output to up to 150,000 BTUs!

Maintenance is Simple!
Only 5-15 minutes of cleaning time will keep your Torrid 200 running smoothly and efficiently for years. Torrid 200's unique fan puts approximately 100 cubic feet of air on the incinerator fire instead of 30 to 70 feet common to many waste oil burners. This heat intensity reduces waste to an easily removable residue. The Torrid 200 waste oil burner completely meets E.P.A. requirements.

Your Normal Waste Oil Collection should be Sufficient for an Entire Season.

Torrid 200 can burn, without modification, crankcase drain oil, hydraulic fluid, drain oil from farm or industrial machinery, aviation and transmission fluids and other waste lubricants. Using slightly more than 9/10 of a gallon of waste oil per hour, Torrid 200 will efficiently burn 15 150°F. Your normal "reservoir" of discarded oil should suffice for an average winter season.

We are one of the few waste oil heating companies that furnishes a Barometric Damper within the cost of the unit!

Installation is Simple. No Complicated Parts or Controls to Worry About.
Observe the illustration above to see how simple it is to properly flue the Torrid 200. The unit should be 6" to 24" off the ground. 110 volts operate both fan and controls. There are no pumps, complicated controls or "computers" to go bad. The Torrid 200, if flued correctly, will run clean and odor-free. Start-up is easy... the supply of waste oil is gravity fed into a combustion chamber. Ignition is simple... a measured amount of fuel oil in the pan is ignited manually. The unit will run controlled until it is shut down for cleaning or runs out of fuel.

One Adjustment is All That's Necessary.
Although the Torrid 200 can be adjusted at any time for a desired comfort level, most users make one basic adjustment and leave it set. Safety features include a limit control switch that prevents overheating and a solenoid that shuts off oil flow if the fire goes out or power is interrupted.
